Our Story
A quiet harbor on a loud coast.
Still Harbor is a menswear house from Wilmington, North Carolina, built on the belief that the best things in life, and the best things to wear, are unhurried.
The Beginning
We started Still Harbor for a simple reason: we couldn't find the clothes we actually wanted to wear. The coastal market was either loud and logo-heavy, or expensive and out of touch with the life we lead. Early mornings on the water, long afternoons in the sun, evenings that drift from the dock to dinner without a change of clothes.
So we made our own. We named it for the feeling of a boat coming off the chop into calm water, that drop in the shoulders, the quiet. Still harbor. It's the feeling we want our clothes to give you.
"Restraint is its own kind of luxury. We design for the man who has nothing left to prove."
The Place
Wilmington sits where the Cape Fear River meets the Atlantic, a working port wrapped in marsh, oak, and salt. It's a place with real history and no pretense, and that balance is the whole idea behind Still Harbor. Elevated, but never precious. Coastal, without the costume.
You'll see it in the names: Masonboro, Wrightsville, Bald Head, the Cape itself. And in colors pulled straight from the landscape: harbor sage, sea fog, driftwood, deep ink water. This is clothing rooted in a place we love.
What We Believe
Three quiet convictions.
Quiet by design
No loud logos, no seasonal noise. We let the materials and the fit do the talking, pieces you reach for without thinking, year after year.
Of this coast
Every name, color, and cut is drawn from the Cape Fear: the marsh light, the live oaks, the slow water. This is clothing with a sense of place.
Made to last
We'd rather make one good thing than ten forgettable ones. Honest fabrics, considered construction, built to be worn in and worn for years.
